I became interested in music therapy after many years writing and recording music and playing in bands. Creative expression helped me to find my voice and make sense of my life challenges and experiences.
I hold a master's degree in music therapy and have worked as a registered music therapist in Melbourne hospitals and private practice since 2010.
I have specialised in adult psychiatry, rehabilitation, disability, and palliative care, with a focus on trauma and mental health. I have also studied Gestalt relational counselling, which supports clients to increase their self-awareness and gain a clearer understanding of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
Alongside music therapy I continue to work as a professional musician and songwriter, recording and producing records as well as playing in bands.
